Basking American Alligator. The slanted log approach is one I see in the wild (& I know a small slanted stump that is favored by stinkpots in a small river in my town) but I don't see used in captive enclosures much. This approach would let the basking platform stay accessible but partially above-water at a variety of depths (important if your tank water level drops a lot over time from evaporation).
