The next section is probably the favorite for turtle enthusiasts. They got quite a mix of species (RES, YES, Southern Painted, Florida Red-belly, River Cooter, big female Barbour's maps, Chicken turtles, Razorback musk) & some large common carp. The tank wall is low and some of the turtles associate people with food and swim right over to you. Some birds (including wood ducks & hooded mergansers) also live here. If you want to get up close & personal without an intervening wall, this is your tank. Photo: Richard Lunsford.
