Matsutaro's ~150 Gallon Spotted Turtle Pond

The perimeter entails a 2 meter x 2.5 meter plastic-coated steel pipe set in ~ 1 ft (30 cm) of concrete, staked at the bottom roughly ever 1.5 ft, with a 4 inch overhang at the top to prevent climb-out escapes. ~ 1/3'rd of the area is boxed in on 4 sides by a 50% gradient sheet to throw some shade on the water & protect moss species from being baked by the constant southern exposure. The entire top is covered with a fine plastic netting for predator-proofing against cats - raptors and kids are also potential concerns.
